SB 520 main-1

This bill—modest yet still facing an uphill battle in the legislature—is a step towards addressing the climate crisis and transitioning New Mexico away from fossil fuels and towards a thriving, resilient future.  The Clean Future Act includes necessary climate pollution reduction standards, helps address methane waste from oil and gas production, and includes essential climate and equity principles.
