De hecho, nuevas investigaciones basadas en evidencia, disponibles a solicitud (v\u00e9ase la secci\u00f3n de contactos), concluyen lo siguiente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Las demoras en la concesi\u00f3n de permisos no son causadas por la NEPA, sino por la insuficiente capacidad de la agencia, los requisitos de cumplimiento impuestos por otras leyes y factores externos, como las demoras atribuibles a los solicitantes de permisos.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">El tiempo medio para completar una Declaraci\u00f3n de Impacto Ambiental (DIA) integral se redujo dr\u00e1sticamente de 3,6 a\u00f1os en 2019 a 2,2 a\u00f1os en 2024.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Los estudios de impacto ambiental integrales constituyen una fracci\u00f3n peque\u00f1a y decreciente de las evaluaciones ambientales de las agencias. Por ejemplo, entre 2010 y 2021, las principales agencias de gesti\u00f3n de tierras p\u00fablicas (el Servicio Forestal de EE.
