La presentaci\u00f3n de hoy es un complemento de una queja anterior.<a href=\"https:\/\/westernlaw.org\/court-challenge-feds-cut-public-40802-acre-nm-oil-gas-leases\/\"> presentado en julio de 2020<\/a>, tambi\u00e9n en el Gran Chaco. El caso consolidado ahora busca anular la venta de 42 arrendamientos de petr\u00f3leo y gas de la Oficina de Administraci\u00f3n de Tierras que comprenden casi 45,000 acres de tierras p\u00fablicas. En cada venta, la Oficina apresur\u00f3 los comentarios p\u00fablicos sobre estos arrendamientos, omitiendo ilegalmente los comentarios p\u00fablicos sobre algunas acciones por completo. La revisi\u00f3n apresurada del clima de la perforaci\u00f3n por parte de la Oficina tampoco alcanza el an\u00e1lisis de sus impactos acumulativos requerido por la ley. La regi\u00f3n del Gran Chaco ya tiene m\u00e1s de 90% arrendados para el desarrollo de petr\u00f3leo y gas con m\u00e1s de 40.000 pozos existentes en el \u00e1rea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEs poco \u00e9tico e ilegal que la agencia ignore las desigualdades e injusticias inherentes a su programa de petr\u00f3leo y gas\u201d, dijo <strong>Ally Beasley con el Centro de Derecho Ambiental Occidental<\/strong>. \u201cEstas inequidades e injusticias no son incidentales: son estructurales, sist\u00e9micas y parte de un patr\u00f3n y una pr\u00e1ctica hist\u00f3ricos y continuos de racismo ambiental, colonialismo y tratamiento del Gran Chaco como una zona de sacrificio de energ\u00eda. Tiene que parar.<\/p>\n<p>No s\u00f3lo fue la participaci\u00f3n inadecuada de la Mesa <em>proceso<\/em> ilegal y una afrenta a la justicia ambiental, la agencia tampoco analiz\u00f3 detenidamente la justicia ambiental <em>impactos<\/em>. La Oficina tampoco analiz\u00f3 adecuadamente los efectos de la perforaci\u00f3n de petr\u00f3leo y gas en la salud de los residentes cercanos. La evaluaci\u00f3n ambiental menciona brevemente los impactos en la salud, pero no contiene ning\u00fan an\u00e1lisis real e ignora la informaci\u00f3n y los datos proporcionados a la agencia en el proceso p\u00fablico limitado.
