UU. desde los 18 a\u00f1os, para dirigir la organizaci\u00f3n como su jefe. Susan Jane Brown, directora del programa de vida silvestre y vida silvestre del Western Environmental Law Center, emiti\u00f3 la siguiente declaraci\u00f3n en respuesta al nombramiento:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe trabajado con el nuevo Jefe del Servicio Forestal de EE. UU., Tooke, durante a\u00f1os en una amplia variedad de temas, y llegu\u00e9 a conocer bien a Tony en su papel como Funcionario Federal Designado para el Comit\u00e9 Asesor Nacional para la Regla de Planificaci\u00f3n 2012 del Servicio Forestal, en el que sirvo. A pesar de todo, Tony ha demostrado ser un l\u00edder de la conservaci\u00f3n colaborativa constructiva y un administrador forestal bien informado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoy, nuestros bosques nacionales enfrentan una serie de desaf\u00edos, desde el cambio clim\u00e1tico y los reg\u00edmenes alterados de incendios hasta el aumento de las presiones recreativas y la necesidad de conectar a los j\u00f3venes y las poblaciones desatendidas con la naturaleza. El Jefe Tooke representa lo mejor que el Servicio Forestal tiene para ofrecer, est\u00e1 bien equipado para enfrentar estos y otros desaf\u00edos, y conf\u00edo en que lograr\u00e1 trazar un legado de conservaci\u00f3n perdurable.
